Maybe the best boot you ever heard?? Then, you haven't heard too many of them, I take it!! Cool, different set list, but there's NO way that's even close to being the best (sound quality or content). It's not soundboard, and it's not even one of those damn near perfect audience recordings either. |

Sound quality is not soundboard but the level of energy and performance substitute for that |

I think he is referring to the setlist not so much the quality of the boot... |

am guessing you're talking about the second show at the North Sea Jazz. The OP was referring to the second show in De Melkweg |

that's how I experienced it at the show and also when listening to the boot... I posted this before but it felt as if a new, young artist was to show the world he is really raw, fresh and good |

Yup, the Melkweg concert was outstanding with that setlist. I would have traded all the W2A concerts (well, except for one! LOL) that I went to, to have been present at that performance! First 11 songs is heaven. I take back what I said about the jams being drawn out and not interesting. This set just needed to grow on me. Think I'll skip the Outsnading and Flash Light covers forever though. |

Yeah... If only the whole song was slowed down. Those synths hit HARD slowed down! I mean, they slap you in the face like a wild beast or something, I don't know. Good heavens, how that must have sounded live there... Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right? |

after What's My Name, TBODP, Beautiful Strange, the stunning version of Kiss, and than... Chocolate and Mutiny... the slowed down version of Controversy was ... well just amazing and like you said a slap in the face - saying 'it's not a dream, this is real!!!!' |

Yeah, just let Prince's detractors who say he hasn't got it left in him hear this concert! "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato
