Aftershows I know this might sound like an incredibly daft question, but usually how do you find a Prince aftershow? I'm asking because friday I'll finally see the little man live for the very first time in Italy and, considering is a festival where in a lot of places musicians keep playing until late at night/early in the morning, I thought there might be a slight chance of an aftershow!

Thats exactly what we were all hoping at the Hop Farm in Kent. No go!! Prince was complaining onstage, saying that the party isn't over till everyone's asleep! Party on P Yeeeeeeeeeeeeh Hah. He said 'I hate curfews!'. Check out if there is a curfew at your venue. Hope this post makes sense I am still in an altered state since seeing him and it feels so good mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Love youallxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

Aftershows invariably take place at a venue other than the show venue.
On some occasions an announcement is made at the concert.
But it's often word of mouth.
If you have a friend who is a Prince fan, but who isn't attending the concert, ask them if they are willing to keep their eyes peeled on messageboards such as prince.org to see if the word is being spread on the day of a venue, if there's nothing announced anytime in advance. Then ask them to text you with anything that looks promising and ask around at the event you attend.
Just be prepared - and be prepared for nothing to happen.
Remember that rumours fly around and sometimes they are simply rumours; and, on other occasions, not even the band members know if anything is definitely on - even if a venue is identified - until the last moment.

A few people mentioned the location of the Paris aftershow on twitter. Do a search for #prince on twitter the day of the show.
