Couple of W2A NYC questions

I was watching the MSG show from 12/29 and I was curious about two things. Who was the guest guitarist on She's Always In My Hair?

For the second, and I can't believe I'm asking this being a dude and all (lol), but when he ripped his shirt open at the start of Let's Work the crowd naturally went nuts. To my knowledge he has generally kept his clothes on since the good old days hasn't he?

He didn't take off his shirt and unzip his pants. He just unbuttoned the top of his blouse. I wouldn't compare it to what he used to do, it wasn't as overtly sexual.

time flies.

That's very true, but even a simple gesture like the one I'm talking about is almost unheard of now-a-days, or isn't it? He generally keeps all of his clothes on and buttoned. Even for such a simple thing, it was cool to see that the original P isn't that far removed at all from the present day one. I would have thought Jehovah and the rest would have completely supressed all of that. Either way he's still cool in my book.

The guy was Kellindo Parker, guitarist for Janelle Monae. And at the show i went to, the opening nite of the La 21nite stand, he unbuttoned his shirt all the way, i too was taken aback, and surprised to see a little bit of naughty Prince. smile

If he feels the need to change his ways & not be 'naughty', I support him in doing that even if I disagree. But being a gemini makes him a dual personality and he can't help but give in to it once in a while. Thanks for the help on the guitarist also, he did a great job.

That's such a fuckin' shame that now unbuttoning a shirt all the way is considered being "naughty". God, how the mighty have fallen!! disbelief

he ripped off his shirt at least two of the LA shows I saw. Where is the video for that show? I have the audio. I was there and it would be cool to view.

Thanks

I watched the LA dates that are available thus far and didn't see that. I'll have to check again or hope the missing ones show up soon. All praises due to Uci (lol).
