He was also apparently checking out shoes and purchased a pair of Szabo sunglasses from the box boutique, according to their twitter feed and facebook wall:

Remember that thread the other day on what his new band should be called instead of the New Power Generation? I've got a suggestion:

Prince & the Family Stone.

lol

blah blah blah

That'll just get Sly Stone to sue the fuck out of them. evillol Even with his state, he'd be like "WHAT?! Aw hell naw, I know crack is wack but this is ridiculous. Did Larry put him up to it?" lol

People still buy CD?

I still buy records as I have no use for downloads and vinyl sounds better than everything else to me. I have no idea why people assume everybody has a computer. They don't and buy CD's in a store.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I totally agree. Why do people assume everybody listens to music in a computer and don't buy records? Because one feature of mediocre people is thinking everybody else is like them.

Unfortunately, the people who download for free hurts the traditional customer that doesn't have a computer or don't know how to use it. Many of the record stores are closing down because of downloading.

I think this story is from the day after Hop Farm - monday 4th July, Prince stayed behind in London while the NPG headed to mainland Europe ready for the Ghent concert.
Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.
