I've never been a visual collector, more audio. I have no bootleg DVD's, just official releases.

I'm not after every show either, just ones I've attended or where he's doing songs he normally doesn't do live.

I don't have the back-up for the things I collected.

The Prince CDs and the rest of my cd collection were sold to help me pay for my college fees. Everything I ever owned and still own is in my 120G Ipod, I shudder at the thought of it getting lost or falling from my hands

One day I'm gonna rebuild my physical Prince discography.

I am curious, how much do you think you have spent on that, excluding concerts, I know by 1990 when i slowed down with the collecting, I had spent about 4k (Irish pounds), I hazzard a guess at 50k for that collection...incredible

i dread to think what i spent on prince. i could have bought a flat much sooner, put it that way. i spent about £4k on the 21 nites gigs alone

my vinyl is all safely locked up btw. few people see that

You have Dreamcast games. I am impressed. Best console ever. Loved mine till the day the optical drive failed. Still planning on buying anothe.

yeah, i've got about 100 more somewhere. it was a really great console. very hackable too. you could play mp3s and divx and vcd before dvd players could play that stuff

it was a major leap from the playstation, but the games were still arcade like. whereas xbox and ps2 made games much deeper and took the fun element away for me. but then you could hack the xbox to make it a media centre running xbmc and i had 2 of those for many years as streamers before i got hi def hdmi streamers. i have many movies and all my prince videos on my computer so i can stream them to the tvs in any room. i get fans round and ask them to name any song or name a date and i play it. i can play whatever gig is the closest to the date someone mentions. i've been putting my music and videos on my computers since the 90s. i have way more prince stuff than you can see in the photos that are a few years old. i have 1000s more cds and dvds. i have a stupid size collection

500 CD's is nothing really, I've got way more than 1,000, half of them are in storage right now though but 552 cd's is probably what I had when I was 16, that was 15+ years ago ...
