The Origin Of The Piano Riff In "Anna Stesia"?

Was it inspired by "You're All I Need to Get By" by Marvin Gaye?

Or did Prince create it?

I always thought Method Man and Mary J. Blidge sampled it on "I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By".

Sure sounds influenced by one of the versions of that song (a lot of people covered it) but I think that's also a standard intro/refrain for a certain Jazz and Roots style music.

Also I think it may originate in Gospel.
