Yes, you are correct. OLTL has been cancelled. I just hope that at the last minute a miracle will come through and they will NOT cancel OLTL. Now, AMC can be cancelled. I stopped watching their predictable, unrealistic, stupid story years ago.

HaterinaHaterwitz, I was estatic when Roger Haworth returned to OLTL. I have not missed an episode since he has reappeared. I'm just waiting for the inevitable...for the two Todd's to come face to face and for everyone to realized they've been duped. That and for an OLTL continuation for years to come!

Yes. AMC will end it's 40+ year run in the Fall of 2011. OLTL will end it's 40+ year run in January 2012. Meaning from now until January. I'm going to get what I want and my way and that is really cool with me!

I fully expected and hoped...that the Prince that I KNOW and LOVE...would have happily RETIRED together...in 2008. Okay, so I'm trying to understand the sentiment here because I know different people connect with Prince in various ways.

Therefore my question is whether people who got into Prince during adolescence or younger had more of a role model image of him than older fans? I ask because a lot of folks express thoughts similar to Hatrina that I really don't relate to, and then there's also others who absolutely have a crush on him.

I'm just a couple of years younger than Prince and when I got into him it was primarily because I just dug the hell outta his style and still do. His vibe resonates with me on many levels, but I tend to see guys like Prince and MJ moreso as my peers, being that they are in my age group.

At various times he's done projects that either didn't interest me or seemed just plain silly, but my reaction was always "oh well, maybe next time".

So I guess I don't get all the angst? Does it primarily affect those who were younger and more impressionable when Prince hit the scene?

ok...your words "people recognize it", which means people are familiar with it...which means radioplay. That's not happening for Prince. He doesn't "Pay for Play" with the stations.

I contend some of his current stuff is as good as anything he's ever done.
