Awesome thread!! I've been a fan for 7, 8 months now and surely people on this website scare the hell out of me "we should only like or dislike Prince for his music because he's a musician" and then give him so much shit for whatever else... lol Honestly I couldn't care less what he says in interviews...unless it's future career plan related stuff I guess...it's not like he's a politician or ever been a role model of mine...I'll just listen to his CDs and hopefully go to his concert soon and I'll be happy

Right I've been a member of this forum for years but only really 'joined' recently, and I was 'shocked' (not totally in a bad way) at the fact that this is s fan forum, yet we don't get banned or called 'haters' for saying the guy is this or that. (unlike on an MJ forum where is you don't say he's perfrect people are hating on you and starting facebook pages of hate towards you! lol)

That said, I do not agree with evrything bad that's said about Prince, but at least if something pisses me off I can express it a little without being banned or hated, so even if some scares the the hell outta me too, I do take it as a place where you can REALLY express your vision and your likes/dislike towards the artist.

But she believes that he was picking his nose.) So what angle are you looking from?

Besides this thread is an appreciation thread. There other threads where you can criticize.

Well, I'm just not used to it, yet on an MJ forum we can talk shit on his family, his past managers, tabloids and everything, but just don't say anything bad on the man himself cause your life is over! (I haven't experienced it myself, yet I took a break for a week or two and I'm sure some are wondering if I'm still a fan or if I went to the dark side... come on )

Prince despite anything and everything the man has said over the years, and has demonstrated within his life. The controversy and mystery, everything the man will remain one of the most talented instruments on earth today. HE brings so much to music, and I never thought someone can speak on so many levels in my life like he has, but he continues to lay it down, and that is why and more belongs to this man. I appreciate him, and eye know he will be seen for many years as a treasure and rare form of something..Whatever he is..ONE thing for certain he's produced genius in some form. Haha

I appreciate the fact that I was here on earth to witness Prince and the wonder that he is.

Well, since you like.. let' go then..

So, besides his incredible beauty which I obviously like I've always loved his songs, his way of writting songs and when does a bass solo, I'm just in heaven.

I'm also blessed to have been able to see him in concert (finally) and to have been able to experience his art in my living time. I wish him the best, truly., and no this ain't ass-licking, it's just... truth.
