Hohner is great for rhythm guitar but on 2o Ten tour he played most of the solos with that guitar

and it didn't work out.

Hohner had great sound for rhythm and while many

disagree great lead sound

listen to the songs like Free,3x2=6 or rip roaring solo on Get It Up.

Nowdays Prince shines on Fender Stratocaster but lacks on Hohner.

His solos on Fender are much more advanced .

So while a Hohner guitar fan i vote for Prince on Strat

Watch the Canal performance that recently aired. The Hohner really got my respect during the 03' One Nite Alone tour & has shined ever since. The Tamar 05' tour is what really made me look at that model very different.

Going with the Hohner. My fave P axe..Great raggedy tone, no buckers and (most important) NO FLOYD!!!

I never really like who the Hohner sounds when he plays lead. Usually bores me, for whatever reason.

If he could play the Strat without a whammy, we'd be set.

maybe i'm biased but... i wish he'd play a Les Paul every now and then these days... just to mix it up.

actually wait... i AM biased. but i do love teles and i'd pick the Hohner over the strat.
