doesn't sound bad... Looking forwards to going 2 nite But it seems that the songs continue to show up on Andy's FB, perhaps this is what is meant by no more albums, just random songs on the net???

Random songs on the net is better than no songs at all, but I hope there will be more new albums in the future.. Nothing beats the feeling of the first time listening through a new album by Prince. The feeling of tension, because you will either get excited or disappointed (on most albums you get to experience both..). But to me that's part of the joy of being a Prince fan: The large gap between the highlights and the "lowlights". I prefer that, instead of always playing safe.

All possible ways to make a song has not yet been tried, Prince. I still look forward to listening to the perfect tune...

lets face it:

Andy Allo can change princes opinions!! thank you Allo!!! please post a full concert next time prince is back in the internet.

.. and talk to prince to release a new album next week (in recordstores please) - and on vinyl please...

This Andy Allo thing seems so transient and contrary - do we think that is what Prince is getting out of this? He's using it to keep under the radar somewhat?

I thought this was very good. Much better than the perfunctory covers during the arena concert sets from the last several months.

I wonder if he's painted himself into a corner somewhat regarding the internet now, but is curious to see what reaction he'd get from becoming more engaged, so Andy is providing the perfect outlet for testing the waters again.

Either that, or he doesn't know she's doing it, in which case these little gems will stop appearing very quickly, however, given the nature of what she's posted (particularly the tribute and now this apparent soundboard recording), it's hard to imagine that, not only has she done it without his knowing, but that it hasn't already been brought to his attention.

Perhaps she's simply managed to talk him into letting her post these things, in which case, she's probably great for him and hopefully this arrangement is more permanent than transient and we'll see lots more from (or more specifically, via) her!

Looks like Andy Allo has a positive influence on Prince. Maybe she's even able to talk him into a live dvd release?

I'm hypnotized by the second, atmospheric part, this version is sheer genius!!!

I agree. The first part I found cringeworthy and lifeless. (the singing of "Flashlight" not the band)

But the Atmospheric second half is very cool.

Loved it.Very funky version of the song. She does seem to be able to do things that seemed impossible and not something that you would think would happen with his stance on most things Youtube. But bless her little cute self for posting for us all to hear.

That is so nasty I had 2 spray my office down after listening 2 it.

Very calculated... like he wants all of us to suscribe to Andy's youtube page and facebook page so when she realeases her album, we'll all know about it

I'm very happy about that change in Prince's mind.. she's young, she knows what's on the net and how many people use it and search for info on it.
