Yeah, I think we have a similar view of Prince's skills and artistry, (I love me some 3121 and Lotusflower!), but I don't feel any kind of anxiety when he puts out something I'm not crazy about such as 20ten or PE.

But I wonder if people who discovered him while still in their formative years were impacted somewhat differently?

LOL, Alan has always been level headed and insightful in the past so I was taken aback by his comments...really caught me off guard.

Princey is many faceted and intriguing musically and otherwise but anything other than music I view from a detached perspective being that I don't actually know him.

When his personal baggage spills out, I try to remember that he has issues and life challenges like the rest of us, but I can't walk in his shoes any more than he can walk in mine.

With some of his more loopy antics, I just kinda scratch my head and laugh.

Y'all don't know that no one walks away from Prince alone. They have to keep ranting about how he's ruined everything and try to drag as many of us off with them as they go. The process usually lasts around 15 years to eternity.

Roger only came back cause ATWT got cancelled and he has mouths to feed. He hates the TM character and thats why he left years ago. He's not coming back for the Soap or the Fans, plus ABC got rid of the better actor a couple of days ago.

I get making fun of Prince, and being letdown by some of his artistic choices - but what the hell is this thread about? Class action suits, and soap opera campaigns... say what?

He's made music that was meant to appeal to his older fans.... He's somehow stopped the aging process and found the fountain of youth....He's playing old hits live, and ferocious versions at that... If that still doesn't resonate with you, then okay. Go find a Prince tribute band to relive the junior prom or whatever it is you're after, or move on with life.
