I pretty much agree with Purple Rain, Dirty Mind, Controversy, and Sign O The Times getting the full five stars, and I'd give them five stars too, probably the only one's I give a full five stars...but can, without starting a damn flame war, can someone PLEASE explain to me why Parade is five stars? Sure, some good songs...but five stars? Three at the most, or at least in my opinion, anyway. "I never want to stop singing this song!" It depends, by "music" standards I think I'd give most of them 5 stars, by "Prince" standards I'd give 5 stars to less of them.

3 star: Batman Black Album LoveSexy
The weird thing about Prince is that imo he's so good that even if I would objectivly say that John Legend - Get Lifted is atleast a 4, and Prince Black Album is weaker as a whole, it's strong tracks are so strong imo that the choice would be easy. I'd take my Black Album to the lonely island despite it objectivly being weaker than Get Lifted. This is a matter of taste though. | |
