'An Honest Man' on Crystal Ball

Now, this is probably the biggest piece of shit on that set, but when does this track date from?

I was so disappointed when I heard it wasn't the instrumental from UTCM.

But does anyone actually *truthfully* know when this track was recorded?

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I agree. It's more like a separate, new song. If you want the instrumental version, just lift it from the movie.

The acapella version was done as a possible opener for Parade, but in the end Prince decided against it.

???
Cloreen Bacon Skin is one of the best Prince jams around.
I totally love that song!!!

An Honest Man must be the worst 'alternative' version of a well known song that I know!

I love 'Honest Man'. I think its one of the best on CB.

The worst has to be one of the remixes.

The BEST however is 'Good Love'. Camille rocks like a sock on a cock.

Boris where do you get such neat inside information? Did it originally segue into Sexual Suicide? It seems to slide into it so organically on Crystal Ball.

No, it was gonna be in front of Christopher Tracy's Parade. More like an intro than a song in it's own right.

So do you know where "Suicide" would have appeared. In case someone wanted to make a CDR with all the leftovers on it?

And again - where do you get this info? Unless you're just making it up...
