I've been frustrated for a minute with Prince, honestly. I've even made a couple threads on it, & of course everyone wants to defend him..... , why people why?

I think fans make a mistake when we assume an artist or celebrity we like acts the same way privately. For example, when Kobe Bryant was accused of rape, I couldn't believe it at first, because he had such a clean cut image at the time. I then realized I have no idea how someone truly is in private, so now I try not to put celebrities whose work I admire on a pedastal. Of course, I may still be disappointed when they say or do something I find distasteful.

Just because I like Prince as a musician, songwriter, singer and performer, doesn't mean I have to like him as an individual. I realise that I want to like him, but I don't truly know him as a person and I doubt I ever will.

Rare is the dedicated Prince fan who has NOT been frustrated with him.

Where you been? Every fan, follower, listener, fam and admirer are frustrated with him @ this point. Im upset now cause that Islamic thing was pushing it, but by tomorrow, i will have settled.

I realised long ago, Prince was not perfect, and its a take a little here, leave a little there relation with P. I like certain things about him, so those things are what keep me a fan/admirer. Others things not so much, so they must be ignored and looked upon as meerly not worth-my-while. The org will be back to threads about his wacky clothes in no time.

Although Im sure he just lost 20% of his fans, no worries they'll be back next year/month. Cause we know what ever this is, wont be for long. Seriously I give him 3 months, til he finds a new intrest/muse.
