It would be a great idea, most artists sell their album(s) at their shows.

He has sold cd's at shows before, but they were singles.

The 1st P show I saw at Wembley Arena in 1998 sold 'Crystal Ball' 5CD set plus cassettes of 'NYC Live!' and possibly 'Kamasutra' although I never saw any of that album. Also 'The Rainbow Children' was on sale at the One Nite Alone show I attended.

Wish he would sell more music at his concerts.

He did that once with Musicology. If he was selling 2010 during the W2A shows, I think that would have done well....or an upcoming release??? Don't understand...selling directly to the fans, put some cool shit in it so people would wanna buy the physical CD and not pirate the CD....

Yes, the fans are going 2 the concerts, so why not just release the cd as merchandse with this tour? or next tour. He did couple of ''new'' songs with the W2A tour leg. I don't get that he just put all these song, and 3 extra songs on a disk and sell it with the Euro leg, and maybe next USA leg..

he gave away planet earth free at gigs and in a newspaper, and 20ten was given away free in a load of newspapers and magazines, so who would pay for it?

if he had put out 20ten deluxe then he could have sold that at shows but selling a free cd is a different story

Eye have got many a great cd from prince shows eye think its a good idea & im hoping there will b cds at dublin?that would make my day!!!!

I saw Johnny Lang last year and picked up 2 of his older CDs at the merchandise desk. If Prince did that, people would buy them.
