This is surprisingly very hard for me...Considering "Sticky Like Glue" Is one of the stand outs for me on 20Ten, as "Dance 4 me" is on Lotusflow3r. Haha..Ummm..I would say.. Dance 4 me. I can listen to that completely, without skipping through anything (The rapping as I do skip in SLG...LOL. "Dance 4 Me" Is incredible because it's such a weird song, but that is what I like about it. The camille vocals, guitar, and prince's choir featuring HIMSELF. Haha. If it wasn't for the rap; SLG would win hands down in terms of the arrangement and how it builds up. It's Button Therapy, Baby!

Dance 4 Me is the foreplay and Sticky Like Glue is the actual dream of cream.
(we shouldn't compare ourselves amongst ourselves - it might apply to songs too )
Each song has it's own beat.

Dance 4 Me. Sticky Like Glue is just awful. It's a dirty song that a teenage mormon would right.

The rap in SLG is truly awful, but I think the tight groove and everything else surpasses D4M. Close one, though. Toejam @ Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com

Hard to choose. Both are incredible tracks that stand up well with his classic Warner Bros. era material. But I'll choose Dance 4 Me.

Dance 4 Me sounds like a bad Time outtake with Camille vocals to me. Goes nowhere and feels pointless. Sticky Like Glue is classic Prince and I love what it builds into by the end. The rap sucks but I just ignore it now. "That was the coolest movie ever." WTF? That sounds like something a 13 year old girl would say.

I'll go with "Sticky Like Glue", it's definitely one of my favorites on 20Ten. I put it on repeat several times, when listening to it. Would have been cool if he played it at MSG in NYC, because it would have fit with that crowd. It has a mid/late 70s/early 80s sound, and reminds me of the Brothers Johnson with a touch of Cameo. It has that fingersnapping type of beat, and I like the guitar sound especially at the beginning. It has that electric slide type of sound, that makes you want to get up and dance.
I like "D4Me" as well, and it does have some gospelfunk sound to it, and the bass part reminds me of "SOS's "Take your time" track, and Funkadelic's "One Nation Under a Groove". It's a nice funk track, but SLG takes 1st place with me. [Edited 6/19/11 15:18pm]

Definitely Sticky Like Glue! Has that old school late 70's/80's funk. __________________________________________________

SLG.
Dance 4 Me doesn't really do much, I can see what it's trying to do, but it never really gets freaky enough to lift it up a notch.

Dance 4 Me only because of the awful rap in Sticky like Glue. Remove the rap and Sticky wins.

Dance 4 me! No competition. It is simply one of the few really good funk tunes from him the last 10-15 years. And Prince without the goodfunk is not the same for me. Imagine his catalog without the best funk songs....not the same at all! I believe that sex is a beautiful thing between two people. Between five, it's fantastic.

Dance 4 Me! It took me a while to decide that I liked it because I could never get past the initial "hallelujah!" But once j listened to it all the way through it became an instant favorite. Sticky Like Glue has it's moments too but I can't stand the awful rap segment.
