PEACH & BLACK PODCAST: The Jason Draper Interview

New episode for Peach & Black Podcast lovers!

Peach & Black Interview Jason Draper

http://peachandblack.podbean.com/

In this episode the Peach & Black Podcast crew have an in-depth conversation with Jason Draper - author of the latest Prince biography "Chaos, Disorder & Revolution". Jason talks about his experiences as a long-time Prince fan, how and why he put the book together, and also discusses some of his other published works too. And... as always... there's a good healthy dose of conversation about Prince and his music too!

Enjoy!

Just tried to download the NPS review on my phone ... error, over 20 MB, please download on a computer. It'll probably be the same problem with the interview. Need more bandwidth on this phone!

The show is amazing, and I often think Prince is over-looked just as they say at the ending. "It's the make-up and the heels. LOL. Prince is simply exciting and amazing, I love that guy considering everything he is all about...Including..Yeah EVERYTHING..lol

I guess that was somewhat interesting. I still woulda much rather hear about an album though, especially since after that Guardian interview he's gone wacky again.

The Parade review podcast thread is old so it's locked from new replies now, so I'll add this here - I finally got round to listening to this episode, and I was really surprised the praise you gave for Life Can Be So Nice because usually on here people often overlook or hate it. I agreed with everything you guys said about it, I *love* LCBSN, and when it kicks off, unfffff! I have to play that track twice every time it is so NICE! razz

Can't believe the praise for Do U Lie either - another favourite of mine that is constantly slated on here!

Almost finished reading the book. I'd say it's pretty good, accurate and for the non-fanatic, informative. However, I'm not to keen on the tone. I can't help but feel the author has quite a bit of disdain for his subject. Of course that's a daily occurence on the org, and, when warranted, I even have been known to participate. It just seems unnecessary at times....

Maybe I'm just reading something into it that's not there, just the overall vibe I get, particularly concerning the last couple of decades. Other than that, good book. Great job creating an accurate narrative.

And, of course, your interview was fantastic! biggrin
