What If Prince Never Had The Fallout With WB? Do you think his music would have change much? What about his attitude towards record companies? What If Prince was named President of WB later on after that (like Jay-Z with Def Jam)[ ]? How do think things would've been different?
I even wonder about Paisley Park too... الحيوان النادلة ((((|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|̲̅̅=̲̅̅|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|)))) ...AND THAT'S THE WAY THE "TITTY" MILKS IT!

Who knows. Maybe he would have moved on for religious reasons, wanting a less secular label. Maybe he would have been a happier guy, not sought solace in Larry Graham, and kept writing good music.
But if he had ended up President of Warner Records the label would have gone broke long before internet piracy had a chance to do it in!

If Prince never had a fallout with WB, I'd be completely perplexed as to why he could pull that off while having fallouts with W&L, his fansites, his fans, mothers on youtube, and the rest of the Universe.
I would immediate start suspecting the executives at Warner Brothers must be using Jedi mind tricks.

I just know that Warner's did some fantastic promotion for each Prince album, up until the Come/ The Gold Experience.
If Prince was still on Warner, he might have got more promotion, maybe have had a few hits as well.
Maybe WB could have pushed songs like Musicology and Black Sweat to become bigger hits than what has happened.
Only guessing.... Prince 4Ever.

songs like
THE ONE U WANNA C CHELSEA RODGERS NO MORE CANDY 4 U SHE LOVES ME 4 ME SOUL SANCTUARY MY COMPUTER 3121 VAVAVOOM GET YO GROOVE ON (an edit) FAMILY NAME (an edit)
woulda had played music videos an more radio airplay have charted
an BLACK SWEAT woulda been an even bigger hit ..
in my opinion
but EMANCIPATION wouldnt have been written an if it was it woulda had to be a double album MAX same for CRYSTAL BALL etc
he got freedom which allowed not very comercial . but brilliant albums like RC to be released Its a tough one ... Warners had no control over prince .. an they gave him alot of freedom .. but not asmuch as he wanted ... an they are still a record company who want to produce HITS .. which was both gud an bad
whenever i want to hear some new music ...i make some - prince '99'

If Prince had never left WB we would all be enjoying double disc reissues of his classic era featuring outtakes in crystal clear sound. There probably would have been a better live box set than the one we got and maybe even some multi volume live dvd sets similar to Kissology.
For the fans I think the biggest disappointment since he left WB is the unfulfilled potential. So much great music is just collecting dust in that vault of Prince's, I'm convinced that an evil record label like WB would have seen the potential sales in releasing some of those tracks and that much of the best vault tracks would have been released.

Thie fallout with WB was so ineveitable that it's hard to imagine it not happening. Prince was giving WB some really wacky albums to promote. They felt he could put out more chart friendly material. It was going to come to a head one way or the other.

Not likely, radio tends to avoid older acts. Unless they put a rapper on the song, work with a producer/beatmaker of the month, or do a duet with a younger popular singer (Santana, Charlie Wilson, Ronald Isley, Madonna, etc.). You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I don't think things would be much different. Many of his albums have had some major label association for distribution, anyway My Legacy
