I know the film is supposed to be quasi-autobiographical but now, looking back at Purple Rain nowadays...it is truer now than back then.

Especialy the Wendy yelling at Prince scene...

"You are just being paranoid as usual"-Today he is paranoid about anybody using his music AT ALL

"You should know by now we wouldn't hurt you"-Something every fan wants to say to Prince

"You felt this way with us before remember?"-He was definately different to friends and fans back then...not angelic but better than today.

"You can really hurt people" Need I say more?

"So tired of this" ME TOO

Prince doesn't have a problem using his music as long as 1] give proper credit/pay

"You should know by now we wouldn't hurt you"-Something every fan wants to say to Prince

You can only hurt someone if they know them, that said, I would never be so bold as to say this to him or anyone else with whom I did't have a personal relationship.

What is it that makes you tired??????? Now here are some real life things to make one tired.....working, drama, the economy, national debt, family, and so on....Should I continue??????

I think it foreshadowed the dynamics of the band and Prince's increasingly insular career idiosyncrasies, but I'm not sure about anything else.
