To be honest I wasnt into a lot of outtakes, boots, & unreleased P songs, for many years inless they were played for me, or came without search.

Why? Because there were so many released songs that were incredibly great, i mean he releases album after album, a lot of goodies in his 30+ yr career, So I didnt even think to think of what Prince maybe hiding or holding back. Its not til I got hungry for more Prince music, because what i had wasnt enough anymore, so I started searching unreleased tracks out.

Maybe some others are like me possibly?

true, prince has so many songs.. so many boots & there's also a lot of shit to wade through the beauty is that i'm really grateful that i came across this without wading!

he delivers some of those lyrics in the cheekiest way,

it's playful beyond words like he's wondering aloud..! he's all wrapped up in a wonder bubble

When I saw that some more 500-600 tracks (including alternate versions) were out there somewhere I just couldn't rest until I had them all. And there are even many more, though not widely circulating or available on boots thus becoming much harder to track down and obtain. That's why the hunt never ceases.

Despite being one of the best and most complete performers of all time, my main interest lies in his studio work. I can never get enough of that.

So, I ONLY wanted to point out that real fans of Prince's MUSIC should try to get and listen to all the music they can instead of devoting a good part of their 'fan time' to unimportant facts such as pics, clothes, hairstyles, bedmates or underwear size.

Why discover outtakes one by one just because you come across them when you can have a real outtake orgy?

I so envy you hearing this for the first time, I remember when I heard it (oh my... 20 years ago. Where has the time gone?!) and instantly fell in love with it.

I had it in shitty quality on the Bootleg 'Yellow' and this track, along with 'Uh-huh' & '5 Women' made me realise what a fantastic bluesy album he could release if he wanted to. Brilliant stuff.

Though I absolutely adore this song, I always considered it unfinished. The part when he sings, "go on and get it one time," and then nothing really happens, makes me think there was supposed to be some excellent guitar part there.

My favorite part..."I wonder if she knows how much I extra, absolutely, so complete and sweetly love her..." gets to me each time. It's so sweet!

Same here, then when i got The Work and it sounded clear i fell in love with it even more. This is in my top 5 unreleased tracks.

but the performance of it could be better. voices esp. sound too harsh and loud

1 of my top 5 all time out-takes. Brings back amazing memories - bought the day after the ACT 2 gig at Wembley stadium [what a gig that was -1992 I think?]. Anyway took a trip up to Campden on Sunday to see the greta street bootleggers [always a great source for P boots] and bought a cassetts [remember those!] with this on it. Sure it had some other killer unreleased stuff on there BUT this was played all the way home back ooop North!.
