I made it through Graffiti Bridge, but I also never even heard of Cool as Ice .

Me three, never heard of Cool as Ice. And for Graffiti Bridge, it's added to my Prince collection but it has only been watched ONCE in my household.

Ironically when my parents used to watch "Graffiti Bridge", I used to put my hands on my ears trying not to hear it much less wanting to see it with my eyes because when I did watch it, I kinda cringed.

That's the only think Cool as Ice lacks--a Morris day type of character.

The crying scene was subtle and sublime compared to Prince's spin-and-foot-stomp "where are you--answer me motherfucker!!!" scene.

Cool as Ice is the worst on so many levels, Vanilla Ice had very little talent musical or acting wise and his career can hardly be compared to Princes, he had a couple of hits and faded into obscurity, he was a 6 week fad.

Prince on the other hand, had a good career behind him, 1 great movie and one kind of okay movie and a good concert film, several great albums and singles, and as bad as GB was, it still had okay parts, some of what Morris did was funny, there were some good songs and it has a campy quality to it.

Cool as Ice on the other hand has dreadful music, a paper thin plot line, no name talent or actors whatever (Prince had his group, Morris day and the Time, Ingrid, George Clinton, Tevin Campbell and Mavis Staples), and Vanilla had no one including himself. Cool as Ice just falls down in so many ways much worse than GB ever was.
