Many good choices here. I would like to nominate F.U.N.K. It's at least his funkiest song in the last ten years. All The Critics is more new wave/post punk-ish than funky. Sign O' The Times has a light-funk pop approach with a blues emulated sound in the middle of it. Otherwise damn good list. | |

Listen to the bass of All the critics! This is definitely funky! Even the octaves in the bass, although not funked up, refer to funk bass patterns.
The same goes for SOTT and Crystal Ball! They are written from a funk point of view.
