All praise to Shockadelica- surley his funkiest track...

..this is one hell of a track. Listened to the long version [?] and was blown away. It just has everything, the voice, the groove, great drum programming, funk guitars, a great lyric that piants an image in your mind [nasty bitch!] and a tonne of originality.

Hey P come back when u B this funky again, until then we'll make do with the pale imitation who keeps puttin' out records with your name attcahed!razz

Anyone else love this as me as me.

Oh and if you want the tripple whammy play it back2back with Irresistable bitch and the long version of lalalaheeheehee.

GREAT track! In fact I like all the Camille songs. A high point in Prince's career imo.

It's a belter, both long and short, if you don't like this then you must be dead.

Do y'all consider "Erotic City" 2 be a Camille track?

Did someone just summon me by mentioning Shockadelica? I'm not a regular every day poster here; sometimes my views get me into trouble even though I never wish to upset...but this song?

I sincerely thought I was the only one who just has to return to it...over and over again, years and years later...Housequake's 'super funky mutant cousin' I call it...(You know you all thought it was some kinda Housequake Pt 2 when those drums kicked off didn't you?)

Apart from being superfunky, it's just cool and no nonsense; he shows all comers how he can play these instruments like he's breathing...throws in a cheeky guitar lick, when he feels like it
("...and when you've cried enough...")...you all know what I'm talking about...and the ending?...goes crazy with the funk...takes us to funk heaven.

How does it make me feel?..when I'm confused / angry I listen to it, when in a no nonsense mood myself, I listen to it...

If there were any other track on Earth similar to it I'd listen, but since there isn't...
