Totally! That was my suspicion and my hope in creating the thread. Maybe I'll do a tally once the responses start to slow, to see who the collective top 10 will be. Looks like Beatles and MJ are definitely in there, and maybe (somewhat surprisingly) Dylan.

Although I must admit some here have better taste than others IMO! (The majority do seem to have pretty good taste.) smile

This is a prince fan website.

Prince ranks 1

Glad to amuse. I actually frequent alot of fan websites. I didn't realize it was considered traitorous to frequent more than one. Lately, being in Los Angeles, I'm naturally a Prince high, so I'm here. Sad that you don't seem to enjoy any music outside of Prince. [Edited 6/8/11 11:09am]

It would be safe to say that if you are on a Prince Site; you have your answer. I love music from Bach to Queen, but Prince is and always will be #1.

Prince is far and away No.1.

By any measure Prince dominates my collection, even with 12,500+ total tracks.

I don't collection Prince video though. I can listen to Prince a lot longer than I can look at him.

I am living proof that it is not "safe to say" that. I love Prince, but he in not my #1. In fact, he doesn't crack my top 7. It seems to be an odd presumption that one only should only go to one fansite or music forum.

Not even sure what "answer" you've referring to. I was asking people what ELSE they listen to.

Lastly, if you go back through the thread, you'll notice there is no shortage of people who DON'T list Prince first.

I dont know about that Heart have great songs and i love Ann and Nancy but W.A.S.P's Headless Children and The Crimson Idol are 2 of my favourite albums ever so they probably just edge them out. In hindsight i would swap Sixx:A.M withHeart

[Edited 6/9/11 3:44am]

My favorite W.A.S.P. is the single Animal (Fuck Like A Beast). Thank you PMRC for turning me on to it. I might never have heard of it without you!!

Unfortunately Blackie refuses to play that anymore
