Five stars rating: the final org list. I KNOW, this is an old thread...

One Night Alone Live is the only thing that surprised me. The first two discs are great (but not warranting a number 6 position on that chart), but my main problem with that set is that except for a few tracks, the 3rd "Aftershow" CD sucks.

How did For You end up last?

ONAL and Expectations benefit from the just-released-it-is-so-great-his-best-yet effect, don't you think?

And I think "For You" (a fine album) is only last because everyone thinks that Prince's first album can't possibly be any good. It's better than "Prince" in my opinion. And NPS. By the way Kamasutra should be on that list, and it should be last. doh edit [This message was edited Mon Feb 10 16:48:54 PST 2003 by mrdespues]

Batman should not be so low on that list. It is not one of his best, nor is it one of his worst. I don't understand why so many people dislike this album on the org and rate Graffiti Bridge (about 3 or 4 great tracks, the rest utter shit) higher than it.

"Got a diamond ring on four fingers... each one the size of a mouse" This is quite interesting, because it coincides fairly nicely with the Album Survivor thread. The top 10 for that endeavor were: 1. SOTT 2. 1999 3. Purple Rain 4. Parade 5. Lovesexy 6. Dirty Mind 7. The Rainbow Children 8. The Gold Experience 9. Around the World in a Day 10. Controversy There are a few major differences, but most of the albums are in the same echelon.
