I just saw a picture of Prince playing a paisley telecaster. Which led me to the following question:

what guitars has Prince played over the years? Anyone have pictures of him playing rarely-seen axes?

I do know that Prince has a guitar in the shape of Texas, given to him by Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top. I don't think he has ever played on it in public.

I just learned that guitar was sold over the summer at an auction - I'd love to know it's technical specs.

Also rather rare is the black cloud with the bright neck that he played (don't know how often) during the Hit N'Run concerts.
