The Ride live from Paisley

Has anyone else heard this version??? Live recording sometime in 02 from Paisley Park. This is almost the "dirtiest" I've heard Prince in a long time. Not too mention the tight ass guitar and piano solo. He sets up the piano solo through talking to the crowd asking them if they like piano keys...

Who else has heard this??? Classic Prince...

I can't say that I've heard this particular version (unless it's from the Celebration). But really, there are just sooo many versions of The Ride that it's nearly impossible to name one that is the "definitive" version.

The song literally changes every time the man plays it.

the buddy miles version was at The Dallas aftershow back in April 2002 methinks, I could do without hearing this song ever again personally, I mean if your going to hit on the blues trot out more than one song, He's been playin' that tune now for 8 yrs..

Is that the one where an audience member keeps screaming
"Go 'head", "Go'head, play it". It's really annoying.

People should just shut up so that bootleggers can make
a good recording of the shows. No more clapping and no
more sing-alongs

He was with Buddy at the Dallas aftershow and it was fabulous. I must get a copy of this.

This is the Xenophobia performance. He tingles the piano keys with his fingers, and teases the girls by asking if they liked this. He then asks where their mind is at and that he only wanted to introduce Morris' solo.
