What is Your Favorite Show With Full Horns? (DO NOT TELL ME WHERE TO GET!) A mod apparently misunderstood my previous post and deleted. I am not looking for ANY information on where to get boots. I'm simply looking for a recommendation in the form of a title or a show date of a stellar sounding show with a full horn section.
I do not want to know WHERE to get it.
I do not want to know HOW to get it.
I am not soliciting any OFFERS to get.
I have access to everything, so much that finding what I'm looking for is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Just a name of a recording you like with full horns; Sax(s), 'Bone, Trumpet.
A date. Whatever.
I do not see how this thread is different than ones already discussing the Soundboard Birthday show or a Remastered City Lights.
Thanks in advance! [Edited 5/29/11 1:20am] "There is two kinds of music, the good, and the bad. I play the good kind."

Awesome, thanks. Got a bunch of ONAs coming down now and found Philadelphia 8/24. Do you know if 8/23 circulates as audio under a specific title, I only see DVD-Video.
Anything from '93-'96? [Edited 5/29/11 8:17am] "There is two kinds of music, the good, and the bad. I play the good kind."

I'd go for the vid! (and rip the audio if you want, both are fantastic)
and if you're looking for horns, steer clear of the 93-96 period. Amateurs compared to the ONA/Musicology section! [Edited 5/29/11 10:41am] | |

Almost any show from 1986-1988. End of thread!
