Video 4 TMBGITW am i remembering correctly that there were 2 videos for "the most beautiful girl in the world"?? if so, why and what was the difference? ** do something,before we're gone , and we're just a rock where a world went wrong...** | |

There is a video for the 'normal' TMBGITW and one for the Mustang Mix if I remember correctly.
The first is with all the woman watching Prince from a chair with Prince in red. The other is Prince with band in a studio of some TV show. I thought it was 'Top Pop' or 'Top of the Pops' or something. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

i thought it was the better video of the two. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

i thought it was the better video of the two. I think it is the better version of the two. There áre a whole lot of mixes of that song...don't know which one I like best. Not the original for sure ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

there was also a video for "Beautiful" (dance version of TMBGITW)
it had a load of girls standing/dancing in a dark room with disco lights flashing around and Prince would pop up now and then | |

I've never seen the video for the Mustang Mix version, but I sure like the music.I remember playing this in the car around Chanhassen, wow, what memories. | |

Technically there was only 1 video for
"The Most Beautiful Girl In The World" There was, as someone has already stated, also a video for "Beautiful". There was no 'video' for the 'Mustang Mix' as such. It was a live performance recorded for the UK music show 'Top Of The Pops'. Where Prince & the NPG performed the song in the style of the 'Mustang Mix' in front of a set backed with what looks like crinkled aluminum foil, with large black letters spelling 'TOTP'. He also performed 'Endorphinmachine' on this same set for inclusion on the 'Interactive' CDRom. | |
