What does you avatar mean to U? All my avatars come from the SOTT era. I love everything that he put out and everything that's bootlegged from that time. His style and music was so complete and meaningful back then. The hair, the clothes, and the music had a certain type of mystery and urgency to it. Completely funky and raw. He probably had his best band person for person at the time also.
The only other time era avatar pics I would use would be from Lovesexy/Batman because his clothes and hair were the best I've seen out of all his sytles of fashion. __________________________________________________

my current avatar is circa 94-95.
that NPG incarnation in that era was so wild! & Emporium London is a awesome aftershow. plus the really rockin aspect of the pic (the original i also have,i gave it the yellow in fotoshop)..the guitar... one of my fave things about prince is how his guitar can say sometimes,more than any words can. ***************************************************************************************

Yeah, it was if Prince had total mastery of his music, stage presence and band. I still cream myself when I watch the Slow Love clip from the movie. Especially the bit at the end "so much better when we..(pause)..take our time...Thankyou...(takes a few steps backwards in time to the music, Eric's moving back in synchronicity with P, gives Cat a sly glance, she gives one back, then clasps hands together in the praying position and takes a bow). CLASS. Oh yeah, my avatar is the Club crest of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. Spurs are a professional football(soccer to the unwashed amongst you) in North London. The motto on the crest is audere est facere which is Latin for "to dare is to do". Which is what I would like to do if I could be bothered to get off my ever increasing arse. | |

I finally got an avatar for me. I looked for many different pictures and picked this one from Princes interactive cd game. This one reminds me of a symbolic piece of artwork that is put in a sci-fi book.
I may change this every month with some other period pictures that I really like. But for now, I like this one. Peace. "

My avatar is basically my all-time fave pic of Prince from a Rolling Stone magazine cover story in 1986 ,I loved the outfit ,Prince is actually smiling (!!) in the pic too,one of those pics I sorta fell for when I saw it lol,full version of the pic is on my website below Check out Chocadelica , updated with Lotusflow3r and MPLSound album lyrics April 2nd 2009 :

My avatar i picked purely because it's of a character from a movie that always made me laugh. The movie being Friday The 13th and the character being Crazy Ralph. This guy who mows around on his bike telling everyone they're doomed. Someone from the org actually recognised him which was pretty amazing! | |
