Thank you orgers

This is my first post I just wanted to thank you for all the great information I find on the org. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am a woman in my 40’s. I loved Prince since the 80’s, and I first saw him on Bandstand. He was different and he intrigued me. I saw the movie Purple Rain and I loved it! Since I was married, kids, and no money music was the last thing in my life. Fast forward a few years my husband left about a year ago, and I was very depressed. I do not know why due to the fact that it was a bad marriage. I saw Purple Rain at the store and I knew I had to buy it. I began watching it all the time and it took me back to the music I love. I began wondering what happened to Prince so I ended up on the net and found ya’ll. You orgers introduced me to music I have never heard before old and new I LOVE IT! I would have loved to join the NPGMC last year, but I could not afford it: I hope to do it this year. If there is a celly I hope to meet you there. Prince’s music and the orgers have brought me out of my depression. I feel so much better with my life.

It ain’t over!

I will be in Minneapolis on Monday on business. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to see while I am up there? I read on the org about a guy who sells Prince jackets and t-shirts does anybody know where I can find him?

Thanks again,

Maybe you'll meet a new man at the celly or at a Prince concert! I met someone at the aftershow of a ONA concert last June, and he is still a great friend of mine, even though we didn't date. We also have the same first name, which made for a funny introduction...

"What's your name?"
"Neil."
"Uhh... sorry, I'm not sure I heard you right..."
"Neil!"
"Oh, me too!"

So much in common...

Where did I say anything about not speaking your mind? What I have previously said was me speaking my mind. Since you do the same you should feel comfortable.

You gotta be thick skinned to hang out here, but love him or hate him at times, your opinion is always welcomed.

If you're a little new to the scene, have you checked out the Undertaker video, thats some good stuff wink peace

Welcome loveeverywhere!

It's cool here, but sometimes it gets ugly. Just keep a mind of yourself (about Prince), and it's going to work out fine!
