Don't You Just LUUVVV Lady Cab Driver??? I just love this song soo fucking much, it was the main reason why I bought the 1999. Its the MOST anderrated song from that LP, sometimes I happen 2 believe that most of Prince's fans don't like it at all BUT NOT ME,,,I feel blessed when I hear those 8 minutes and so.
The whole production is tight-the synth arrangments(def the best), bassline, drums and the guitar solos at the end. Even his singing was the jam, you could feel through your skin that he's very depressed. The "This Is 4" part lol had me rolling on the damn floor but I could live without it anyway. Thats the purest Minneapolis sound right there  | |

Don't get no funkier than this...GREAT song!!! Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

Yes, it's one of my favorite songs. Musically it is very rich and very funky. I like the overall lyrics as well, so to me Lady cab driver is an excellent song. You are not my "friend" because you threaten my security. | |
