actually, thieves in the temple nod when i bought my first p cd.. (d&p 8 yrs old) that track didnt work on my stereo.. so i insisted on dragging my dad back to the store.. they played the damn cd, and thieves worked.. phew.. i was so ashamed.. so we drove home & i played the track over and over for several days.. afraid that it might quit on me again.. i suppose that is when i got hooked..

My father years ago loved the movie Purple rain, but i didn't really understand it, i was young. Then about 1 1/2 years ago, little red corvett was playing on the radio, and my father said, "i love this song, prince is a great musician". so i went out and bought the Rave dvd. I watched and said, "i remember these songs, i forgot he wrote these." thats when i started listening to more of him.

But then TRC came out and i loved it.

And now, I bought the parade album, and the song "AnotherLoverHolenYoHead", regenerated even more interest in his music.
