The Uk version was different to the American one My first ever Prince video

Mine too, played it to death. I still have it, it's not been played in (I guess) well over 10 years, it must be in a hellava state.
Was this not released in a 2 x VHS in a box, then the single tape version came out?

Maybe the US version...i'm quite sure when I bought my Channel 5 version from Woolworths in 86 there was just one tape. I think it cost me £15 I saved up my paper run money for weeks lol.
