Do you really think she went there without his consent? That whole interview was one big promotion, shots of the playroom, him playing "Let's Have A Baby", etc... the baby may have been gone at that point but he was still using fatherhood and the idea of being a doting husband as selling points.

I think the questions Oprah asked were intentionally there so Prince could try to brush aside all the rumors flowing around at the time (nevermind that they were true).
