Actually, I'm pretty sure that if I did the math, I probably have listened to both songs at least 24 hours in total, just not all in one sitting.

I've always taken it as there is joy in repetition of anything passionate and, well, joyous...including (but not limited to) s.e.x.

Side note: Joy In Repetition my personal favorite song on GB.

Very happy when Prince played it during the 21 nights in London.
