Joy in Repetition

If you had to listen to one Prince song for 24 hours straight, which one would it be? For me, Controversy, SOTT or Computer Blue.

There is joy in repetition

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

Actually, thinking about it, I reckon those people who start those 'what colour do you associate with Prince's dancing' threads have probably had Wedding Feast on rotation for 24 hours.

blah blah blah

Do it all the time.... Electric Intercourse, Reflections, Call My Name, Purple Rain, Acknowledge Me, AnnaStesia, PControl, the list goes on. I get in those moods where all I want to hear is that one song on repeat!

Prince is GORGEOUS. I'm inspired. GOD is GREAT. Is there anything else to say? lol

Track 4. it's 4 seconds of silence. Rumored to be a tribute to Miles.

Right now I'd probably say "Tamborine" or "Splash".

Actually, I'm pretty sure that if I did the math, I probably have listened to both songs at least 24 hours in total, just not all in one sitting.

And don't even get me started on "Something in the Water" boxed . I've probably listened to that about a weeks time in total. eek

20 minute version of America - that way it's only played 3 times an hour and thus only 72 listens.

We all know it starts to get annoying the 74th time.

I think I've listened to "Le Grind" more than any other Prince song. So maybe that one.

I would go for Soul Psychodelicide, the long version. The one that's a year long.

I've always taken it as there is joy in repetition of anything passionate and, well, joyous...including (but not limited to) s.e.x. giggle

Side note: Joy In Repetition my personal favorite song on GB.

Very happy when Prince played it during the 21 nights in London.

You changed your post, Kewlschool is too fast though lol you would think this thread was about Joy In Repetition with that title lol

but I liked your answer nod hearing the words "Joy in Repetition" does mostly remind me of sex but like you said, it can be so many things, when I took this photo, I just had to include the words biggrin
