I luv these 2 pieces of music...however i prefer the instruental thinks its absoloutley beautifully arranged.....i just dont get all the screaming in the vocal version...is there any reason 4 it? is there a meaning?....was he on drugs?....and what r u thoughts on thses tracks?...please share...

Was he on drugs? Probably not! The vocal version I always liked the vocal gymnastics, I took it as a, hmmm maybe not a metaphor, but a display of the human vocal ability - Like he was using his voice to show what God had created, as the lyrics say. I think it's quite touching, and I say that as someone who thinks the mythology of the Christian God is quite pathetic to be honest.

I love his screeching and screaming, he did a lot of it in those years. I actually prefer God the Dance Electric(vocal)

A lot of screeching on ATWIAD too

Too bad he no longer makes songs/recordings like this! Both of them are CLASSICS in my esteem!!!!
