Both! I like to hear a variety of sounds throughout a show.

I'm not too fond of the keys lately, though. Not only weak, but the tones often just grate on me for some reason. I'm not a musician, so it's difficult for me to explain...

Personally, when I go to a concert, the last thing I want to hear is songs that sound just like the record. I always prefer new and different interpretations, so any changes in instrumentation (including using horns instead of synths or vice versa) is just great, if you ask me.

yeahthat Hearing new and unexpected arrangements is precisely why I'm so into live music. It breathes new life into songs I may be tired of. There's nothing exciting to me about hearing a song performed just as it was on the album. I might as well stay home and listen to the CD.

I know a lot of you guys think it sounded too Vegas but I loved the horns during the Musicology period.
