Internet Radio -- Listen Up Ya'll Hey, can anyone help me out? I was listening to an internet radio station recently that plays a lot of Prince and heard Prince singing this song, Martika's Kitchen. I was floored. I consider myself a fairly knowledgeable Prince fan, but had never heard this song before. And the recording was excellent -- studio quality.
I tried to do a bit of research and found out that Prince wrote a few songs for Martika (including Martika's Kitchen) on an early 90s album. I don't have this album, but suspect that he wasn't vocals on any of the songs on the album. Then I heard two more songs on the internet radio station that I didn't recognize -- it drove me nuts! They were called The Grand Progression and Work that Fat. Anyone know anything about these? I tried to do a bit of research here too, but couldn't come up with anything. Unfortunately I wasn't able to access the discography on the npgmc site -- but that's another story... All I can surmise is that these are either bootlegs or ultra rare. I don't collect bootlegs, so that seems like the most probable explanation. If anyone does know anything more about these songs, though, please let me know. By the way, if anyone hasn't checked out some of these interinternet radio stations, you should. Go to shoutcast.com and search on "prince". It's a fun way to surf the internet with some great music playing!

Do a search on outtakes and sort by score. Then buy DanceMusicSexRomance and DaysofWild and reference them. Check http://home.online.no/~oa...where.html to see a brief explaination on finding boots. Enjoy! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Still it's nice to know, when our bodies wear out, we can get another -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

"The Grand Progression"
This outtake was left off the Graffiti Bridge record and film in favor of "Still Would Stand All Time." It's a beautiful, gentle love song, set against delicate piano playing and some touches of synth. It was meant to be the climatic song of the movie.
