City Lights CD Sourced from Video? I'd heard for years that the City Lights CD set was the audio tracks from videotape, meaning that video existed for all those shows. I doubted this was true but looking at the shows in the set,
Columbia December 12th 1981
most of these show have emerged on DVD. So, is there still hope for the Atlanta 1980 show coming out? If a Prince fan hasn't put it out there, maybe there's a Rick James fan who has Prince's opening set. This would be Prince's earliest known show on video, right?

Would love to se more Controversy shows. Also wondering why Washington 81's show and others were never put on City Lights... Yes, at 19, I finally saw the Revolution, a legendary band. And I talked to Wendy!!! In addition to seeing Prince, I have now lived life. Thank you Purple People!!

From what i understood some shows are circulating only in audio, others only on video, and some others on both formats.
Whoever let them filter probably only had these so we might have to wait for Prince to open the vault for more material A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/
