He probably has his little purple notebook with him wherever he goes. Just because he's on the road doesn't mean he ain't recording, does it?

When he said he was in 'studio rehab' I was thinkin' he had a new Mayte (or muse or love interest) and that's cool. Do your thing P, travel the world with her, go out and enjoy new things. I agree with you Gio, he should 'Release It'. I love hearin' a new song or new body of material from our man. You know we're all SPOILED that's one of the many reasons why we always got somethin' to say. How may of us will sit back and NOT have an opinion about the new music. I was hoping to hear with the W2A shows that he would sell or give away the 20Ten album in the states us Americans can get it (I already have it, matter of fact I have a FEW copies).

Bottom-line, (I want) new music / album / radio release /internet release ...

Me too, although I'm pretty sure it wouldn't help either. His mindest is much too conservative in order to create something artistically outstanding these days.

I think he is only taking the break as of the moment because he is touring.

He does indeed have thousands of recorded tracks unavailable to us. I understand it in a sense, being somewhat of a musician myself..I have sat on completed songs for the last 10 years now just because I dont think anyone wants to hear them; but a man in his calibur...I cannot fathom why the hold back, why a awesome bootleg had to wait 25 years to be released to us. I cannot comprehend this.

To further; I just hope he does indeed release a new album this year. For now go and get that new "From The Soundboard" birthday show. Like another orger said..it is so good..I feel like I should send some money to Paisley Park for owning this.

I think he should take a break and get the real creative juices bubbling again

I have to admit, I believe my man is coastin' when it comes to composing an album but, I'm cool with it. He's mastered the art of composing and creating music ... New music ...

Why should he take some time off?

What is he gonna do that is gonna get thoz juices flowing, go to Isreal and see the stompin' grounds of Jesus or somethin'?
