SOTT is not a real concert. And the '86 birthday show in Detroit was never released.
The Rave ... dvd is more of a real gig than SOTT.

I have that poster above my bed. Troy Beyer gave it to me autographed and then the NPG signed it later on (minus Levi & Prince) at a Sam Goody's signing. When  go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all  up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! | |

I think pretty much anyone on this forum will know exactly what the SOTT movie is - who are you trying to educate here? And, its a somewhat pedantic point you raise - as you will know, the audio is from live concerts but, sadly, the video footage was not up to scratch, so it was filmed again to enable the release - nothing wrong with that! I'm just glad it was released at all.
Secondly, I did say that the Detroit show was only televised....but thanks for reinforcing that!
And I'd take SOTT over Rave any day of the week. ...we have only scratched the surface of what the mind can do...
