Is it an "official" though non-Prince authorized release? Is it just an new emerging outtake?

I have no idea about it being official or any other legal hoopla, and I have no opinion on that, all I know is that I like it.

It's a solid track in the same vein as "It", "Big Tall Wall", "Fuchsia Light", "Love Song", and other tracks he was doing like that at the time. I think it's the perfect juxtaposition to "For Love."

I doubt Prince had any involvement in its release and I am certain it is simply surfacing from someone's collection (hence the censored "P***ce" in the title to give it some online life).

It's probably the only track I actually like from the sessions for Jill's 2nd album.

A breath of fresh air, really nice, and well worth digging for.

The only info known is that it was recorded in late 1987 and this is that original mix. Horns were later added in January 1988 at Madhatter Studios. It was intended for the 2nd Jill Jones album.

i like it.

good vocals; it's a true duet, meaning they each take a good amount of time in the lead, rather than 1 person being mixed way into the background; the rawness of the mix is cool

The new track is bigger news but because of the weird `copyright` situation because of the USA the news is skewed a bit.

Copyright in the US is a very serious thing since our record industry is struggling between the opulence of its execs and the will of the artists and consumers.

Not the best track, but at least he tried to do something a little bit different. An approach I'm totally missing from the Prince of today.

People keep saying this "turn of phrase" as if we were expecting this surprise to be testicle-erupting or something. It's free and it came outta nowhere, no qualifiers necessary.

In the first thread about this song I've described it as being a "so-so" track. So that's me being incredible creative with my play on words.
