As long as it's not negatively impacting their lives and they're able to function in society I don't see a problem. The symbol has always been cool and unique so I actually like it as a tattoo. I wouldn't get one but that's just me. The way I see it Prince's best music is upbeat, party music so it makes sense that he would attract wild fans.

The longest cut will more than likely air after his 21 show stand is complete. I'm not for sure it will be on in the UK, but The Africa Channel is on Sky in the UK, so it may air soon.

thanks, i had no idea it was on sky in the uk, but sky have a gazillion channels i've never heard of. unfortuantely they don't seem to carry the HD version yet, but at least there is an HD version of the channel

Weird, my friend and I were talking about that and I bought the symbol necklace at the concert wore it and felt weird because I felt like I was wearing someone's spiritual identity on me and stripping away my identity, Kinda see where you are going with this, but they are fans who love him. Yes it may not be something that you do but some people do it, it doesn't make it negative, it just shows they admire him in a different way. In my defense, I felt that way when I wore that necklace, even though it was his concert lol.

i just saw the cool and lets work videos "wow" it was great to see him dancing and having such a great time. i wish i were there

I havne't seen it but you know Prince loves the hype. He is kind of shameless with it...you would think he woudl be confident enough not to need it but maybe it is marketing/promotion or maybe his ego needs it.
