To SING like P would be a true gift from above.

Both his range and ability to arrange vocals in studio is where I think he outshines other artists more so than any of his other talents.

I'd love to able to sing and also to have the chutzpah or whatever it is that engages him so that he can carry out his creative visions. The man seems to be seriously focussed.

the ability to not take "critics" seriously (esp those on 'fan' sites)

I'm so sorry to hear this. It's very hard to watch a loved one die. My dad had a slow, painful death. I believe he went to a better place where he no longer suffers. I hope you have supportive family & friends. I think even here on the org if u posted in the general forums section, some nice orgers might empathize with u. I have faith u will one day regain yours.

Never underestimate the power of prayer...even if you don't have much faith, try it....it will be a comfort in itself.....i'm sure it has real effects (based on mine and other's experiences)

Thank you for your kind words. It's funny, sometimes it means more when a complete sranger takes the time to offer a kind word.

Cancer is such a horrible thing...and the worst part of it is, the doctors almost seem like they could care less about fighting it because of her age. To us, she is an essential part of life, to them a statistic..and there you have it, unfortunately.

So, like I said..it would definitely be his faith. I don't think I've ever seen anyone feel so connected to their own spirituality. It's really beautiful.

thank u PurpleKittyK. Those words r very kind. I could not have said it better. I 2 lost my Dear Dad and watched him die a slow ugly death.

nahenahenowemapa I truly hope time heal you so u can enjoy the love and memories your dear Grandmother left behind. I lost my Grandmother and it was a big loss 4 me, but the memories I have of them both are such a blessing
