Please please please no no no, anyone, anything but him. The already horrible covers are inspiring more more untalented ppl to do Prince covers. Yeah, singers should get direct permission from the artist to do a cover, cuz this is bad. What can be worse than this?

Doesn't a person need to have been somewhere, experienced some things in life to be able to sing momentous songs like Purple Rain? That's what I believe. It's one thing to sing some lyrics, another to translate & channel them the same way the original artist had done...

Justin Bieber himself never compares to Michael. I watched him on Ellen when he was there to promote the movie, and he said "It's hard to compare anyone to MJ". It's the fans and people around him trying to compare those two together. So what? Let them compare! No one's going to take that comparison seriously unless you're a teenager or a hardcore Justin Bieber fan...or I guess they are pretty much the same thing as for now lol

And he copies Michael a lot...So? Usher, JT and so many others have been copying him and they forever will be. The only difference is that JB goes real far to wear finger tapes lol But he told Ellen at the interview flat out "I wear finger tapes because Michael Jackson used to wear them". The kid can't stop talking about Michael! He never tries to be sneaky. He always says Michael is the reason why he's doing what he's doing.

I personally don't like his voice at all and he definitely needs to work on his vocals but so far I think he's an ok entertainer, especially for kids. I was surprised to find out he learned how to play guitar and piano by himself. I'd love to see how he will transform himself as a serious adult musician or entertainer..I don't think it's something completely impossible.
