Paisley Park Is In Your Heart vs The Theocratic Order Hmmm, even Prince's cheesy ideal scenarios seem to have degraded quite a bit, atleast Paisley Park was blindingly pretty... Sorry, it's late, I'm rambling and listening to ATWIAD... Personally . I think we are all Boring with No Lives cause all we do is talk about Prince,Criticize and Gossip. I need a Horny Man is what I Need and probably so do most of yas. We are Sexually Frustrated what we R... Amen..!!! - zelaire

Here's a problem I'm trying to work out:
Surrender of autonomy, to some extent, is a requirement for getting into all of Prince's Utopian theme parks. Usually it's just a matter of putting yourself in the right frame of mind. Paisley Park, for example: "Just say u believe and come 2 this place in your heart." By buying a ticket, you're consciously separating yourself from your past life/the rest of society. How is the Rainbow Children tribe/Theocratic Order less inclusive than Paisley Patk? I agree that it feels that way, but why? As the story of the Rainbow Children starts, the tribe is already established. Are they not accepting new members? Have they been conned into something that isn't as democratic as they thought, or are they people who want to live under a theocracy? Is it the idea of banishment that makes them look so severe? The Resistor's temptation of the Muse is a parallel to the Fall of Eve, suggesting the possibility that the tribe represents the population of Paradise, initially united in innocence under God's love.
