DRM headache I know this has been mentioned nefore but how do I get to play the old downloads which were DRM protected (and I've paid for)? In particular the Musicology b-sides but there's others I can't play.
I've tried burning them to disc but am told I'm not allowed to, the license renewal website doesn't come up, plus I've tried other software to do it but it says I need a license first!

You know what the quickest way is? Google the tracks up and download them as flac/mp3.
They're still the same source, so no better quality of course, but they'll be DRM-free. I know it's a grey-area and not perfect, but you bought these tracks, so I say it's perfectly ethical.

It's either that, or get a time machine - so you can go back and burn them to disc when you bought them, which is (ideally) what should have happened. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I've tried that, most aren't so easy to find.
The tracks I'm missing are United States of Division Silver Tongue Magnificent Bataclan NPG in this funky house live Hawaii Controversy live and there were 2 live tracks in 2004 of Satisfied and Strange Relationship
I doubt I'd find all these on web, Youtube doesn't have them.
I've tried everything, even trying to restore my DRM backup I had with an old version of Media Player but it said "no backup is found"

Questionable content in your post. I wouldn't ask for anything here and just wait for the MP3 fairy.

That would be tragic. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I would start my own site, a halfway house for the banned and misunderstood of the org.
