This was something new to me... I stumbled upon this video snippet of a James Brown concert in 1983 where he spotted Michael Jackson in the crowd and asked him on stage. MJ got on stage and did some dance routines and some vocal stuff on the mic and then started whispering something in JB's ear.
JB went to the mic and ask Prince to come on stage (apparently on MJ's request). Prince was carried on his bodyguard's back and dropped on stage where he took over the guitar from one of the band members and started jamming and some typical prince grinds on the mic. Only lasted for a minute or so while he took his shirt off. At the end he walks of stage and accidently pulls over a lamp post that was part of the set.
The video ends with the lamp post falling in the crowd and the image freezes before you can see if it hits anybody

Does anyone have more info about this? Where was it? It didn't seem to be a normal concert because there weren't so many people... must have been a VIP thing or something... if anybody's interested to see it, just mail me. I'll put in on my website for download if anybody's interested.

if memory serves correct, it's from a james brown concert at the now defunct Celebrity Theater in Anaheim, California... I haven't seen it in years.. I got a copy of it in the early 90s when getting bootlegs was a feat!

Since it's floating around the net, has the picture quality improved at all?
